Not a lot of love flowing on this thread!

Firstly, welcome Shone. Would I be right in thinking that you registered just to sell your cars? Three posts and two are in the for sale section. Your second quattro, the 20v one looks fine from the photo's but depending on it's age, model, spec and mileage we couldn't even hazard as to whether that price is realistic or not.

Your first one, well, to say it needs some love might be a little on the understatement side. Many of us here like a challenge for a restoration but that one is just too much for most people to take on. My advice is to strip and sell what's left on it that's useful. I.e. the wings, lights (if in good condition), door handles, some of the glass. That's about it I'm afraid. Sorry to say you'll never get the €3000 you're looking for, but if the wings are genuine and not reproductions, the lights are in good nick etc, you might end up with half that. Might.

As others have said, it's always good to do your best within your budget to make the car look presentable, even if it's just a vacuum! If you can't be bothered to vacuum a buyer immediately thinks you then can't be bothered doing anything else to the car, oil changes, services etc etc!!

You could always give some more info on each car too.

Will be interesting to see if you sell either of these!

Ah, bit like a class 47/8, with the boiler tanks converted to a balance fuel cell... Incidentally, with a 98litre tank, doubling the range is sort of eccentric...
