The latest little novelty with Honeycomb (2.3.6) is that the deleted space cleanup on the SD card doesn't work.

And two-finger zoom has stopped working in the Gallery application, and ...

Is it true that Apple had patented the 2 fingered zoom and thus have stopped Android using it?

This is supposedly a bug - it still works in other applications.

"The problem didn't seem to affect users in the UK - but many complained anyway, as a lot of Siri's best features, such as the capacity to find nearby restaurants or walking directions, still don't work in the UK."

Huh? We've had both features on Android since FroYo.

Here we go again - another wonderful Apple innovation that Android has had since Day One:

WOW!

I was expecting headlines like-
'Apple claims release of first ever over-the-air updates'
'Apple invents...'

followed by

'Daily Mail and Sheffield daily record reporters unearth major litigation from 20 independent androogle developers, claiming copyright breach'
and
'Steve Jobs subpoena'd to appear before (via séance) grand jury'

And what we actually see is that Apple have released Over-the-Air updates. At a time that they determined was suitable (being the developer) as opposed to when the Saturday night pub gig audience felt was suitable.

It's a news article, for a tech gadget.
Do you really expend that much energy to finding fault with Apple?

Crikey

No. What actually irritated me is that of the three 'Technology' stories occupying that rubrik in Google UK News this morning, two (OTA updates and the guy who voiced Siri) are about supposed Apple advances that are long since fact in the Android world.

I mean, is Patrizia Lipp news?

There are actually areas in which the human race is making advances.
