Thank you very much! I shall pass that along to my electrically minded chum and hopefully he can make sense of the snakes nest that is under the dash!

I'm located near Bedford. The car still works, but is a pain to drive in the beating sun as it's similar to driving around in a sauna at the moment!!!

Ben, The pdf is brilliant - hopefully we can sort this out with that. I shall give you an update on our - hopefully - successful attempt to sort this out tomorrow!

It just looks like such a nightmare at the moment which I'm desperate to sort out!!!

There are no lights anymore and I can't hear any sort of motor running. I will try your suggestion and hook it up to a battery - hopefully that will eliminate a lot of the possibilities.

Well in that case mate I must be blind.On drivers side,just above the hood release,theres a large relay the size of a fag packet,and two std size relays.Mine is of course the 2.0 not the Gelb

I have lights on the elec window switches yes.
No whirring from the drivers elec window.

Will remove the door card and look tomorrow.Drivers door is off a V6 and is a replacement from when Leah had it and it was vandalised/kicked in!!!
