If its any consolation:

A mate of mine from Sheffield had the same bad experience, "she" worked for the Government and wanted it all. He earned a top class salary, and had an accident on an Oil rig that awarded him £150k for his injuries and she wanted that as well, even after they divorced she was still pursueing him for his pension and three of his houses!

Anyway, he had a BMW Bauer Convertible in black, it was only a year or two old at the time and she sent him a letter saying that she wanted this as well. After some discussion and a court hearing we trawled the market - and I mean trawled the market! Eventually we found one to replace his as the deal was she either got the car or he sought a replacement car of similar ilk!

It had full service history, 250k on the clock, the seats were shagged and it had little life left on the road. Bodily it looked the part. Anyway the deal was done and, as the cash was handed over, the seller warned my friend of the drivers seat. " Why? whats wrong with it?" he inquires "It has a Knackered spring in the centre of the base and every now and then it pops loose..." "In what way??" he replies "Up the way" he replies "Hmm....Nice" my friend replies. The offending spring was subsequently located and duck taped down into place, the car was sold and some where on the M6 there was a woman screaming about a pain in the a$$ as the duck tape had let go......

Not as bad as you,but I went through similar.
I stayed in the marital home,until I could find a place of my own.I boxed up all my worldly possesions,ready to be shipped out.(I told her,she could have everything else.)
One day in work got a phone call,asking if I was in?(I was told it was my sister.)Got to the phone,no one there?Tried to phone sister,no reply.
When I got home,the back door was smashed off it,s hinges(I,d changed locks,until I could get my stuff out.) and the place was in darkness.
She and her family,had broken in and emptied the house,even my boxes.To top the lot,they,d taken all the sockets and light switches off the wall.They had smashed all the bulbs in the house and taken the main fuse box off the wall.They had even painted obscenities,on the walls.
Called the police(came about 2 hours later),they had a look around and nothing was done.(DOMESTIC)
In one of the divorce court hearings,she said I,d taken alot of her belongings.Expensive jewellery,fur coat,expensive clothes and alot more stuff.What a pack of lies,she didn,t own any of the stuff in the list.
She took things of mine that were irreplaceable(one being a A4 file,full of negatives.) and alot of expensive photography gear.(I had before I met her.)
I just wanted a quick,amicable divorce.
All this(I think)was caused,because I asked for the babies blood tobe tested.
I sympathise with you and I think the system STINKS.

My Mrs has been through simular except it wasn't her car it was her house Police victim support gave her £50 to replace all her and her daughters possesions and her ex husband got away with it scott Free as there wasn't enough evidence to suggest that he was involved and the police didn't have concrete evidence that he had set it alight when the Mrs and Daughter were meant to be in the house... (Luckily they had decided not to go back home that night and to leave it til the next day but her ex Husband knew that she was due to be at home that night to start packing ready for moving as the courts had told him to stay away from that road until the Mrs had packed and moved..wasn't even his house!!)

Hope you get a bit of luck sorting out your car...There's some real physco ex's out there and the police do absolutely nothing

i think we all got a bad deal my ex smashed up the kitchen that me and markP had fitted just a couple of weeks before then went to the tolet TEXT a mate to call the police saying i'd done it !!! i was cleaning up and three copper came busting though the front door and arrested me ? that was the last time i was in my home she got a injunction against me kept everything i owned !!

i tryed though the courts to get stuff back (no chance) now i'm not allowed to see my kids 15k in dept (her dept) ............. and why i hear you ask ...... she was haveing a affair mmmm i lost everthing including my UR my A4 and now the cu#t is selling my CQ

people on here know me and will vouch for me as a good careing loil friend,farther and husband..... basicly i been shaffted for being a good guy by her and the courts.

My ex has kept coming back to the house n stealing things, right down to the door bell
Couldn t legally (apparently) change locks till her name off mortgage
Thought it was all over until last week.
Mate n mrs came round (now I say who can visit!)
Offered his Mrs a Gin n Tonic, I stopped drinking 3 years ago but was in house for visitors
Poured it n looked funny colour for Gin
Sniffed it and it was filled with nail polish remover!
Told Police and they said I had to prove she'd done it! nNo one else had key to house
She also dobbed me in to CSA even tho I pay anyway about the audicoupeparts website-said I was making £1000s a month n she wanted the money
I wish I was! That s why I ve given it up, still have the site but can t advertise anything
So if anyone wants it let me know!
I ve a lovely new girlfriend now who is so supportive and understands as her ex is a d*ck too
Hope you get the car back-why not go to DVLA n try get the docs in your name, she might not get the letter asking if she wants rid.
Failing that, get it nicked...

the last V5 i got says on it. That this is not proof of ownership! Give them a call get it back. Rent a low loader and pick the car up. Worth a smashed window to get it back.

on the ad on ebay it says the documents and car is in her name................whilst you away she sent docs of to have name changed....................to do you over

i possibly in same boat .with my missus thats why last month or so i not been my self and whollyfull unorganised....getting my belongings .car docs to my folks house and my cars to lockups around yorkshire
