i still think that jap stuff is the most reliable tbh, a lot of the people who like german cars say that jap stuff has no character and is boring to drive, which TBH I think is total BS,
i have had loads of different makes models, and driven even more the worst i have had has been vauxhall and volvo, the volvo was a D5 S60 and was horrific! the vauxhall broke down 3 times in three weeks lol the Skylines are great cars, and hondas are completely indistructable if serviced well, the D&B series engines are renouned, as is the K20 engine becoming never had a toyota but have heard good things about them too |

those engines are renouned for that, the amount of people i know who have had that problem is rediculous, however nissan did do many on warrantys, also the later navaras had a different engine in AFAIK
nissans biggest problem at the moment is their styling, WTF is the new DUKE about!!! |

Just like the Alfa Arna of the eighties, Nissan styling and alfa mechanicals and electrics. Whoever signed off on that should have been shot.
