It's normal for the fuel filter to be full when you take it off and replace with a new one. When you first fit a few new fuel filter, it's best to turn the ignition on and off about 10 times to get the pre-fuel before you go to start. It may take a few goes to get the fuel flowing again for it to start. Also check they are no leaks where you've done it up. If it's not nipped up and is leaking a bit you could be losing pressure which will not help! A fair bit of pressure go through those pipes!

I took it onto the street to go get some gas but as I drove it, it was sputtering bad, there was a big of black smoke coming from the tail pipe and it was having trouble going over 2k rpm. Is this a fuel/air mixture problem? Running rich? Regardless, Im glad that its doing a little better now. Thanks for all of the tips everyone |
