As a temporary measure, get a thick(ish) bin bag and some masking tape, cut it out to shape (rough as you like) and stick it on. Once the door card is back on you'll never know the difference and the number 1 thing is to prevent the water getting behind the door card and door seal rubber.

I used some thick plastic dustsheet from Wickes along with some silver duct tape. Worked a treat

it ain't going to leak for a while thats for sure. Also prevents the heavy smell of waxoyl permeating the cabin after the severe lashing she had with the sprayer

Looking forward to seeing the UR
