Default Snow

Went out at 7am , 2 inches of snow, so I took he a6 , nor probs , until!! I tried to stop then 4wd didnt help at all, nearly crashed twice. Has to be said with all the cars in my driveway the only 2 that are useable are the landcruiser and the a6. Luckily, I mean unluckily the company car is fwd and so rendered useless.

Fun following an X5 this morning, massive wide summer tyres and not even 4Wd could help on the incline, made it up eventually but I just drove up normally in the A4 with its M&S tyres,

hell yes!

Was going down the A4 into Bath this morning, everyone was doing 15mph.

I took a "Dukes of Hazzard" style shortcut, and beat about 10 of the cars, going down a back road with 3" of virgin snow.

Might take some pics this afternoon if any charge in my camera.......

Last two days I spent @ my grandparents house:

Morning, I'm going to bring in some firewood. Temperature about -15c

Cats have suitable winter gear as well

Drifrwagen Of course, not mine. Handles very well, probably because it's big car with small engine which isn't in very front of car like it's in audi.

P.S. Conclusion made in past week - 30-40 cm of snow can't stop mk3 golf, all u need is suitable tyres and enough good gasket between steering wheel and driver's seat

I have an Omega and at the first sign of a snowflake it refuses to move, we have very slippy snow here.
