This forum has been set up for owners and enthusiasts of all early Audi's including all Auto Union, NSU, Horch and DKW cars.
There are plenty of forums out there for new Audi's, TT's, Quattro's, S2's, RS2's and series 3 onward cars, but this is the home for all early Audi models pre A series up until 1996.

As always members are welcome to turn up in whatever they choose but personally for me eligibility for being on the stand should be limited to models the forum represents.

Just my twopenneth worth like
Nothing against her but its the first example I can find. tttoptotty's Cabriolet is an 1998 car. Just wondering too, would a 1995 B5 A4 be accepted?.

Also just so everybody knows, the A6 is my Dad's second car, mainly used for towing there caravan before the 80 was in the accident, which was used daily.

The Cab is the exception.

Cab was based on Coupe (Audi 80 based).

Coupe started as B3, then B4 when it got its roof chopped. Hence it is really a tarted up 80 underneath the skin.

Personally, I go with Emjay.

The urS6 is another weird one. It is technically an A6 "sport" series car, but it is a badge engineered version of the C4 100. Which in itself is a tart's body on the C3 (typ44) 100.

I'm not arguing the toss here guys, just trying to get clarification on where things stand.

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't my Dad and just a friend or something, try putting yourself in my shoes.

As we are displaying the best of Classic Audi's on a Classic Audi stand, the make up of the display has to represent the cars that the club seeking to recognise (and generally accepted derivatives). Absolutely no problem with anyone who has a passion for classic audi's driving/owning any other make or model but the display has to be made up of the cars that the club represents. Many apologies and no offence intended but that does not include A4's, A6's, TT's of any type (including RS6's) in my opinion
