Car is on its wheels, engine is running and it's due for an MoT in a few days........

Pics to follow when I get a chance - I've been up at the workshop for the past two (working) days and just got home to a backlog of my own work.

Here it is, as of earlier today:

A few things still to do (like putting the seats/belts in etc), but MoT should be done by Monday morning.

Thanks Ian, but it's mainly the chap in the picture (Kris Tennant) that's 'done real good'. There's lots of things still to do, like wheel spats, livery, snagging jobs etc, but all we are doing just now is getting it fit for the MoT. Terry Stamper is up on Tue/Wed to play with the mapping and I then have the arduous task of getting a couple of thosand miles on the engine before we get him back to do something a bit more aggressive with it. The ECU has a map switch so 'map1 will be 'road' (probably aimed at tractability and economy) and 'map2' will be 'rally'. This will be hot swapable so it could be a bit like a nitrous switch!

There's a nice set of genuine 9J's sitting (unused) less than 20 miles from my home. The owner doesn't want to sell them, but has said I can borrow them if I want. TBH, I'm more keen to get the 7J Fuchs with gravel tyres on anyway Brian.

Car is looking superb John! A couple of thousand miles before mapping! It will be worn out by then! Lol!

Give it a couple of hundred and let it pull what it can with the mapping!
