Seen all your snow today, stayed in widnes last night and came out to a reasonable dusting this morning, Left there to come home tonight, 7 hours later i'm home. M40 from warwick down to wycombe was hairy but ok, followed two snow plows down the A404, which was handy as I doubt I doubt i'd have made it up the hill by marlow. My junction was closed on the M4 so had to keep going then turn round and try a different way. Got stuck across windsor great park, so got the shovel out and started clearing, some lads helped by giving a push which was nice, and finally got home where there is between 6 and 8 inches outside the house !

Just been out for a late night stroll to clear my head after a poker tournament (won £100), it's hammering it down here now near Brecon, at least 4"'s on the roads, be interesting to see what it's like in the morning. Walked about 2 miles, enough to justifies a bacon, egg, and black pud sandwich which I've just devoured, off to bed now. Not working tomorrow by the looks of it, more garage time which is nice.

Here's a few I took earlier this evening (about 8pm). Havant Road was terrible (and was still a nightmare when I came back at midnight). Don't know if it was gritted or not, Driving on it was not fun at all, even though it looks nice. Seems to be melting now.

And again . .

Havant Road lamp post (lens misted up)

Snow on telegraph wire

The best place to be . . .

I hate this weather. You try and keep a SAFE distance from everyone and there,s always someone who wants to hug your rear bumper.
Wasn,t much more snow here, the temp just dropped.Very icey.

Well, in Wiltshire there is 1" (near Castle Combe), and Bath 3" where I park. Lots of people in Bath where I park haven't gone to work, and there is virgin snow!!!

Quattro + Vredestein SnowTrac3 = winner! (they do grip amazingly, but I managed a bit of a fishtail going round a corner........)
