How do you know it went for that ? , I watched it til the end but am fairly new to having t'internet at home, so not overly familiar with ebay at the mo - last I saw was £2,550

at a guess, someone within the VW scene has bought it.
Top dollar for an 80 sport but it's had a lot of work done, and looks superb.
Supermarket sunroof is the only real downside though, but other than that it's pretty much show 'n' go.

It did look great and not far from me in Barnsley - I would have changed the wheels and tyres to 14's with proper offset as well. Hopefully it will turn up on here because the guy selling it was aware of us - hopefully he's told the buyer about us.

Well, that's typical E38 madness at it's best. So can we assume it never actually sold on eBay last week?

The owner is on here so maybe able to shed some light.
I would add something on E38 but would probably result in a ban!!
