I worked for the US Army,,,,,,,,,,,,,,was based in Weisbaden..........20 minutes west of Frankfurt, but I have been to loads of bases over there................Heidleberg, Darmstadt, Kaiserslatern, Berlin, Fulda, Geesen ( geben........the funny S )..Ramstein, Worm, Hanau...............,plus bases in Italy, Belgium as well.

Yes, I do agree........they do seem to treat anything non GTE with total contempt.......a bit arrogant to be honest.

Don't think it has. He's not that far from you really. Maybe 40-50 miles north near Stevenage/Cambridge area.
Would be nice to see it come to the Audi scene rather than the Edition 38 VW scene.

Yeah, I will see how it goes............I did manage to tract another one down...was owned by a bloke up in Nottingham called Lee. the car was a 2 door, but was in a right state.....I was going to get it, but never managed to collect it and it dragged on..........when I contacted him again.he had the hump and did'nt want to sell me no more.....still hopeful though !

I have seen a few in Germany and France for sale......if I can't get a right hooker, then, I'll go over and get a left hooker............( i meant a L.H.D ))......................not a prossie !

Left Hooker, is in fact the UK terminology for when you stop your car and they alight!!!...Then you drive off....fast!!
