Algarve Historic Festival

It started today the biggest festival in the Iberian Peninsula.

Day 1 morning
Free training session started at 07:30, we could hear the sound of the engines of Masters Touring '70, tuoring cars from Gruop 2.
Next up was the F1 pre-1961, folowed by World Sportscar -prototype Le Mans tipo 4, Formula Junior, Gentleman Drivers GT, 1950s Sport Cars and finally the F1 pré-1966.

Master Touring '70:
The Matra 670 owned by Rob Hall made its 3000cc engine beat all the others with the time of 1'48.484, followed by Lola T290 with Dagather Cole (1'51.275)
and the Lola T292 of Rodrigo Galego (1'52.347).

Pré-1961:
The most recent car on track was the Ferrari Dino of Tony Smith, did the best time with 2'11.505, followed by Lister Jaguar of Rod Jolley with 2'14.383 and the Maserati 250F 2534 owned by Jos Koster with 2'19.344.

World Sportscar:
1º Bobby Rahal, Chevron B16 - 1'56.927
2º Steve Tandy, Lola T70 Mk3 - 1'57.468
3º Neil Primrose, Lola 212 - 1'57.546

1950s Sport Cars:
1º Roger Wills, Lotus XV - 2'11.751
2º Gordon McCulloch, Maserati 200SI - 2'16.248
3º M Thoulouze, Lotus XI Le Mans - 2'19.387

Gentleman Drivers GT:
1º R Wills e J Twyman, Bizzarrini 5300 GT - 2'11.808
2º M Campagne/H. Melse, Chevrolet Corvette - 2'13.028
3º M Graf, Jaguar E-type, 2'13.048

More pics people, sir striling moss spended to 2 hours on track just having pure fun.

The only Audi on track. This was quite a failure, since a bush of classic audi owners got invited to celebrate the 100 years with some laps around the track. I was invited, but we all declinied because of the lack of organization.
