Default What is the best 80's song ever?

I know there are plenty of people my age on here who still remember the 80's! (just!!!!!!!)

So, what's the best 80's song ever?!

I'll start the offing with a few 80's classics!

Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy - Kiss me

Alphaville - Forever young

Simple Minds - Don't you forget about me

God this is going to be hard, I'm having an 80's music revival at the moment, and there are so many songs i like now that i couldn't stand at the time. The reverse is also true. The only constant is i thought Phil collins was a tosser then and that still stands.....

Right there on the cult, What worries me slightly is i heard small town boy by bronski beat and was blown away with the vocals. ELO's time album taken as a hole is great, real 80's and even more relevant because i first heard it in my cousins then new, coupe gt5 (w reg inari silver quad lamp).

The Model by Kraftwerk has to figure in this list . . . is it the best 80's song ever?
I doubt it, but it is German.

I used to love Bronski Beat and have just listened to Hit that perfect beat and Smalltown boy and nothing in the charts nowadays even comes close!

Sign of the Times - Belle Stars

True - Spandau Ballet

Take that Situation - Nick Heyward

Double Dutch - Malcom McLaren (Youtube Link)

Red Red Wine - UB40

Wings of a Dove - Madness

Dolce Vita - Ryan Paris

This is not a Love Song - Public Image Limited

Solid Bond in Your Heart - Style Council

Right By Your Side - Eurythmics

My Ever Changing Moods - Style Council

Michael Caine - Madness

Glad it's All Over / Damned on 45 - Captain Sensible
