Just ask Kerker and Simmo how I went on the Manx weekend, and I never had the slightest hint of brake fade / judder what so ever. And thats with a quite severely modded engine. Just thought it worthy of a mention, but don't write off the old stuff if it's working as it should, as with some slight performance bits, they should work fine.
yes but280 with the same mods/ performance components would be even better

ok i have done about 100 miles with the brake s on and all is looking good , they work alot better than 256mm setup and you can really notice the extra cooling from the discs as when they get hot you can feel them working better as they clean /deglaze the pads and keep the discs cool as you brake, i firmly believe this is down to the size of the holes , i have used many a drilled disc and to be fair they have all used about 4 to 5mm holes and i used 6.5mm, this must give better cooling than smaller holes?
where standard would fade these bite harder, obviously im bedding them in at the moment but have tried a few "sporting" stops and they stop the car in a lot closer distance and with a very progressive feeling,
highly recomended conversion, ill keep an eye on the discs cracking l

What about an S2 caliper on a standard 108 90q leg, with adapters fitted and a B3 20v disc? Would that work?.

Which disc are you using?....Im thinking that a bigger wheel diameter may be needed though with S2 set up?
