Default 80 Sport cam in DS Engine

As above really! Have been given the cam and pulley from an 80 sport and I want to stick it in my DS engined 80, will this work? Is their anything I need to do/look out for? Also what difference would it make?

Any difference between your engine such as cr, displacement etc compared to an 80 sport?

If yours is basically the same as the 80 sport then id hazard a guess that if the engine was set up correctly youd gain the same characteristics as the sport motor.
Consider the cam as being the "brains" of the engine- it decides what the engine does.

the sport is a 2.0 mine's a 1.8 other then that I really have no idea about the full tech spec
