GTI international market stalls?

Did anyone wander around the market stalls where people sell used VAG parts?

I picked up an Audi leather gear knob in excellent condition for £2!! He had it up for £3 I managed to squeeze him a pound down.

I was wandering around rummaging parts with my eyes, and I am glad I saw the gear knob, because I have just seen someone in the parts section advertise one for £25!

This is not the guy I got my knob from, but just an example of how people had stalls set up etc.

My son spent £20 on parts that he needed for his Golf, which he'd budgetted to spend £80 on...there was nothing I needed, but there were bargains to be had if they happened to have just what you wanted...
