The car in the top picture has a much too small a boot lid.
The filler cap is next to where the bumper corners and and is a 4 door.

It's starting to bug me now. Lots of similarities to the early 80. Same shape c pillar with trim, and same shape rear door glass.

Boot still too big for a Jetta me thinks?

Was thinking Derby but they didn't do a 4 door did they??????

Took F**in ages to find a rear quater shot of an Audi 80 B1 facelift, looks like the one in the pic has suffered rear end damage.

look at the location of the fuel filler cap though. There's about 6" more metal/body work in your pic than the one in the spotted pic.

looks like a circa mid 70's BMW 5 series .but the boots too short

I'm with Coxy, very 80 like but the boots too short. Accident and modified? Pretty labor intensive.
