Pre-Facelift 80 Sport: on the bay!

Seen this one before; was in Stafford then & only had 4 owners & 130k & that was in Feb this year?

. Looks fairly tidy: again maybe someone on here?

that was the one that was for sale in Lichfield about 6 weeks ago. The guy had a Celica and Porsche 911 for sale at the same time.

bought it 6 weeks ago to restore then can't be arsed?? I smell something not quite right. Has he found somethig he wasn't anticipating and is now getting shut quick??

Then again it could be genuine but personally I would take a bit of extra dilligence if looking

Yes; agree: it is probably perfectly genuine, but I got caught like that once. Nice low mileage, but rear axle was about to part company with body. I've always given the chap the benefit, but you do get a bit cynical: esp. at my age

2 of my mates went and saw the 911 he had for sale which was a total shed. Put it this way, even at £3k, they walked away from an early 911. He said it was no where near as good as he said and I have a feeling it's the same case with the sport. I asked them to look around it when then went over which they did and he said it was nothing special as wasn't that good.

Apparently the O/S/R door doesn't open which was never mentioned in the original sellers description either!
