These are now at the £300 (+EU postage, VAT, import duties) level.
I may have a source to get these in the UK available at around £200+postage, potentially £200 inc postage. I need interest for 10 of them (another 9 as I am after one) before I commit to spending resources on this. It is the Febi 26537 and fits the MB cars. These also fit the S2, 80, 90 and 100-BUT they do vary so please check what you need. Audi part 893 612 061 C Anyone after one?

Have you thought about getting one via ebay from the US ?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154432139...Bk9SR9r8x8WBYg You might/might not get caught for import duty depends how the seller fills out the form but at around £170 delivered before duty its not a bad price. I recently bought a set of bearings from ebay USA for a motorcycle at $120 + extra for delivery, paid no duties on them. Last edited by quattrodave; 11-05-23 at 07:52 PM. |

The difficulty is that you can’t send pressure vessels by air, and I’ve never NOT been caught for import duties/vat etc
But if there’s no interest in 9 I’m not going deeper down the rabbit hole for them! The limit on value for duties etc is £130 iirc, so you probably just scraped under ! Lucky you… ![]()

I recently had a problem with my brake bomb which is only a couple of years old. When the engine was off the bomb would lose pressure within a few minutes so that when I restarted the car the red light would be on for a few seconds.
Looking at this diagram I figured that the pressure relief valve might not be doing it's job. http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/troubl...rake.html#bomb So I removed the bomb and cleaned it thoughly in my parts washer, then using compressed air blew all the degreasing fluid out of the ports. Now it's refitted its holding pressure perfectly again, so I assume there must has been some debris stopping the valve from seating properly. I'm not saying this is your problem but it is certainly worth a try.

I might be interested, but snowed under with travel demands at present. So I’ve not had a chance to check compatibility.
