Default Nic Britton R.I.P aka Dark Angel

This is heartbreaking to report but great friend Nic Britton passed away this morning after a 6 month fight with cancer, which turned out to be very aggressive. He was the nicest of men with a great sense of humour and devoted to his family and The George Guest House in Bridlington which they opened in 2016. He also treasured his B3 90 2.2 quattro which had been his parents from new, known affectionately as "Quatty"
He wasn't a big user of the Forum but frequently active in the Facebook group and active in meets and shows like my Noggin n Natters and Audi's In The Park.
Probably the hardest post I've ever had to write. I think of him preparing and cooking the breakfast for the guests in the B & B as quickly as he could to get Quatty out of the garage and bomb over to our Noggin n Natters. Our hearts go out to Manda and boys Cameron & George

How very sad. It's not been a good month for Audi fans.

Very sad. It's just been one of those months, I've already been to two funerals for former colleagues who were friends as well.......

Sorry to hear this.
It seems a callous reminder of how cruel life can be.

I spent much of yesterday under the car. There's still more to do, but instead I will be enjoying it today, and taking a more relaxed approach to further jobs on it.

Very sad, I feel for his family, I can actually remember him posting on here occasionally sometime ago.

Not been a good a month and makes me realise how lucky I am to still be here.

R.I.P Nic...
