I last saw Mike in April, we talked Audis and Porsches.
A VERY knowledgeable guy, always willing to help other Audi friends.
RIP

It's been quite a while since I last saw Mike. I'm lost for words, really. A very helpful, easy going fella; he'll be missed.

RIP

Oh no. Really sad news and a big loss to the Classic Audi community.
I first met Mike at the Castle Coombe meet in 2018. Since then we have been in regular contact and he was a big help with my Nothelle build, offering advice freely and often sending parts for free. I was able to return the favour sending him a few parts in return. He was a top guy. RIP Mike.

Aways generous with his time and knowledge. Recently, I've been fixing my old 90 and posting up progress. Mike was often the first to offer advice and always trusted.

I recently received components from Mike to sort out a headlight. They arrived, impeccably packaged, the day before his passing. Never got to say thank you. Here's to you, Mike. Thank you.

Yes I remember him on Audifans too , he had such an amazing knowledge of all things audi , great guy in every way.

I'm really saddened to hear this, Mike was a gentleman, a good person to be in the company of and would take time out to help.

I will miss him being around.

Awful news, I saw it last night on his face book. He was often the first to offer technical advice both here and Classic-Audi Facebook Page also brilliant on sourcing spare parts. He recently sold his Black TSR 2.6 90 quattro to David Noble & still had a Tornado Red 90 quattro 20V which was lovely.
He was one of the earliest members on here, joining in November 2007.
So sad at only 52 year's old.

Very sad to hear this. I never met Mike personally, but he was always very helpful and encouraging on the forum, and happy to share his considerable knowledge with others. He will definitely be missed. RIP Mike.

Unhappy

Really sad to find out about MikeS2 passing away. A bit of a shock as I saw him just a few weeks back and he was full of chat.

I did allow myself a small wry smile when I learned he had passed away in his garage whilst no doubt fettling something or other. I'm lucky enough to own one of his old cars an it is an absolute pleasure to own and work on after all the fantastic work Mike did on it.

I'll be in his debt for years to come I'm sure.

RIP pal.

Terrible news , seems unbelievable, I can only echo all the sentiments above and send deepest condolences to Mikes family and to many of you who knew him personally.

An irreplaceable loss to all of us in this group of like minded folk.

We will miss his incredible , informative posts so well illustrated and his generous help with advice when we were in need.

RIP dear Mike, a truly genuine kind man.
