It’s very good to see you back in the fray. I’ve always had a soft spot for sciroccos, but was never tempted to buy one.

Well done Frank - I saw that advertised and hoped someone would buy it to recommission rather than for parts.

Please keep us posted.

Glad to hear you're going to hang onto it, great cars.

Sounds VERY familiar! I owned my ur from 1997-2007, and bought it back this year.

Just seen you are back, nice one Frank !

Liking the coupe that brought you back, have a great time getting it where you want it to be and of course, driving it too.

Hi Bruce, how you doing ? Yes, fell into the "Audi trap" hook , line and sinker.

Great to be back and enjoying getting the old Coupe back into reasonable shape, hopefully will be in for an MOT before the end of the month, just waiting for the brake callipers to be refurbished.

Plenty of other more non MOT'able stuff to fix, but at least making progress.

What's your state of Audi ownership now? Did you get rid of the Stormtrooper in the end ?

Great to be back among you friendly and helpful guys,

Best regards , Frank.

I'm good Frank, sounds like you are too which is great.

I now have a TT, Stormtrooper is still in the family with my grandson and still runs a treat, he needs to get some work done on it and get an mot but like any youngster he needs a push, A BIG ONE

It's great to have you back on here.

All the very best buddy,
Bruce

Thanks Dave, and will certainly post up more pictures once we get a bit of decent weather , but the car has been hiding away from the storms we have had the past few days and today was spent wrestling with the N/S door , trying to extricate the electric regulator which is U/S.

The interior of the door was amazingly good and I suspect never been opened up before .

More pictures will come along soon , MOT in a few days time hopefully!

Oh yes....it is Saturn Red.....Red I think , altho' it does look more brown than red. ( LY4V )

That door skin, foam and paint is so original it hurts. In the Porsche and American muscle car world that factory finish is everything,

Think preservation not restoration. It’ll only add value that way.
