Learning as I go but had a manual quad lamp GT in the 80,s and looking forward to getting this one back on the road. Will try and share the journey.

I had UPG59X
(If I recall correctly)
Pretty sure that was a quad lamp. Certainly silver 5 cylinder 1.9!

A quadlamp in - to me at least - in the stand out early colour, Saturn Bronze.

Although X rather than W reg I'd guess it's a very early car as the bootlid is badged 'Audi C'.

Great find & good luck with the resto!

Where in Cheshire are you?

The bronze is growing on me 👍 I am just outside Chester. Wondered why it was badged Audi C and why it had solid head rests, early model would explain it.

My 1st quad gt5s was SUX 7Y

Solid headrests went right through until the '85 facelift I think - my '84 FI has them.
