The best was after I picked the car up after it came through customs.....still had the UK plates on and I drove it down the 401 (Canada's M25) with my boy (who was then 5) sat in his booster chair "driving" with his Spongebob Beanie on.....
I have never seen so many people do a double take.....plus i had several "street racers" pull alongside and check out what we were....got several nods and thumbs up.....absolute classic moments! ![]() |

Closest thing I've had to someone taking the piss was a guy standing outside my work who yelled out that my car was "only running on five...." he was quickly corrected by the lads in the yard nextdoor
![]() Couple of young lads with seriously quick cars (one being a toyota ute with a beautifully prepared 13B turbo) have asked for a look and ride in the coupe, I told them it was only a 10v FWD and their reply was "so.... its a cool car" - I wont argue there! ![]() |
