Roose Motor Sport silicon hose induction/boost kit

Well I am not very happy with one of the silicon hoses, the MAF to turbo inlet hose also has a spout for the crank case breather that runs round the rear of the engine and run up the right hand side of the engine and turns into the middle of the hose, the spout in the Roose hose is about 20mm to low and at the wrong angle, what do you do, I have two hoses that have been patched by passed owners and on high boost one of them is hissing, ok, remove the hoses and send them back, fat chance, get the TIG out and find some like sized pipe, it will only take a couple of hours, more like 4 hours with painting.
The photo below has all 5 new hoses and 4 old hoses, pipe 3 and 4 from the left is the MAF to turbo pipe, notice the spout half way down is lower in the new pipe, this will not fit in the engine bay, as for the reducer pipe in the middle at the bottom if anyone knows where is goes please tell me because I can't find it.

Then you fit the rest of the pipe work and you can't even see it, well at least i know I did my best.

My advice if you have a S2 with the B3 engine do not buy the Roose hose kit.

Looks like you've made the best from a poor situation?
Have you contacted Roose?

At least the hoses are on now and they're of the "fit and forget" type!

Looks like the Mark H mod, goes over the joint between the intercooler and crossmember, stock is an o ring.

Nice fix on the misalignment.

John, May get a chance today to refit the rest of the front end of the car and out for test drive tonight, we will see.
Andy, Nice to see you still posting on CA, I have taken the intercooler off and found that some clown has tried to seal the o ring end with silicon, new o ring fitted from stock and silicon pipe fitted but was to long by 16mm, out with the knife and now fits.

See these fu***rs that sell modified car parts and there back up plan is "you can send it back for a full refund" I'd like to kick them squarely in the nut sack, they have no earthly I dear how much of the front of the car you have to strip down to remove the old hoses, I could go on but I think that is enough ranting for one night, as you can probably guess I have had a response to my email I sent this morning, they claimed in their email to have the original hose to copy from and there hoses are an exact match, well the photos are above, barrel of fuds.

I can empathise completely!
And even david blunketts dog can see that hose isnt the same as the oem one.
Send it back with a suggestion of what to do with it.

FUD, a word I use often too.......usually "what a fud-piece", when describing the singular.
