Default Down Pipe

The down pipe on my CQ is looking a bit worse for wear...
Anyone fitted one of these or know of another suitable replacement?

Thanks

From memory the downpipe on our CQ was 3 into 1 not 2 into 1 like the one in the link it does not look right to me, what year/engine is your car ?

The B2 KV 2.1 was definitely a 3 into 1 linky -

Later B3 cars had one like this

You are indeed correct. I've just checked and it has 3 pipes running down from the manifold.
Any ideas where I could get another?

Part number is 853253101F, walkers do a pattern one number walk08002, a quick internet search shows up its available via spareto.co.uk and a whopping £185 and 28 day wait as must be made to order -

I had a spare but not sure if its gone, need to root through my parts garage, if I still have it (don;t hold out much hope as I think I sold it 3 years ago - I had 2 of them) I'll let you know as don;t have a B2 anymore just B3's

Thanks for that.
In the mean time I'll do some more research myself.

Good luck, ebay search bloody useless if you search for audi coupe it shows mainly A5 and TT parts neither of which are audi coupes IMHO. It was also fitted to the B2 audi 90 Quattro KV engine so try searching for a 90 quattro exhaust.

Someone on here may have a spare if mine have gone, but if walkers list it then usually it can be made to order via one of their distributors (been there done that !)

There's 2 versions of this pipe.

Early cars had a full length 853 253 101 F

Later ones had a shorter version 853 253 101 AD which allowed retro fitting of a catalyst. There was a short link pipe on UK cars to take the space of the cat. My 1987 car had this setup.

Yes I think its the 101F we are having made but I think it will fit most models without much trouble
