Default Brand New Bolero's x 4

I don't use the S2 Forum!

Your having a laugh about the tyres I have bought 225/45R17 Pilotsport 4s. They are supergood and would save me a fortune in engine tunning, as I would be able to carry way more speed through the twisty bits! It all about good rubber and that's the best on the market right now! At least I can send them back!

Boleros weigh a ton realised that when I got both my sets refurbed but they do look nice and audi specified them at 7J ET45 for the A4 TQS with 225/45 x 17 as standard fitment.

The 2nd set I have is destined for my S2 as winter wheels when I finally get it back on the road, I just like the style of boleros as I think they look great on the B3 coupe body, you can always use spacers to fill out the arches.

No,i'm not laughing, 7j wheels like the ones your bought are tiny nowadays for a 17" rim! Too much tyre bulge going on affecting handling. But..... i'm always fair though and agree the best rubber out there is priceless in the twisty bits!! You do have a major advantage on us lot though, your staff discount! Still i'm very happy with my Asymmetric 2's I've just bought for my freshly refurbed S8 8J Alloys i picked up Friday. Which buy the way, weigh less than 17" Boleros which are a soft as cheese!

That's right. While the ideal rim size for that size is 7.5" they will sit quite nicely on a 7" I'm not to worried about the weight! Compared to that V6 lump! It will be barely noticeable.
