black plastic audi boot badge

Hi all, got given a load of bits and bobs a while back from a guy who owned many coupe gts and ur Quattro's over the years, I have a black Audi boot badge, same as the silver ones but it just black. The silver hasn't rubbed off or anything. I was just wandering what model this was off. I thought the black Audi and quattro badges were decals? Any ideas?

UR quattro, WR engine in the lighter colours:-

As above, all '85 Model on WR quattros with the black stripes/door rings came with the black badges, likewise, all ones with the silver stripes/door rings had the badges with the chrome highlighting.
