Anyone have access to VIN information from Audi?

Im trying to get some info on a euro car that was brought over here as a demo car by audi of america in 1981.

When my contacts at AoA (audi of america) pull the vin they say its unavailable from their market.

I have quite a lot of info.Unfortunately Audi don't seem to though.
What info do you have?
VIN
Colour etc.
