There is no chance of Corbyn calling a snap election, the PM is the only person that can ask the Queen to disolve parliament and then we have an election.

Corbyn can have that option as part of his mandate (promise) but you know all about the promises that politicians make

PM can no longer ask the queen to dissolve parliament de facto. Now we have fixed term parliaments they can only call snap elections by way of a confidence vote

But, ....... do you get my point about how people are very selective when it supports their argument? My repost was that Gordon brown would show those 2 pictures in a tame light such was Gordons fervent passion and very considerable debating skills. I'm certain he helped hugely when he came out in favour of the United Kingdom in the Scottish referendum not even 2 years ago,his speech really touched my head and heart like no other politician could in the whole debate! I'm very sad he's no longer in national politics.
