So with your above statement how do you explain Sports Direct getting away with what is no more than a sweat house of Dickensian Victorian squaller?! How have European laws protected them?! The culture of fear the company has nurtured is beyond belief even though you say we are protected by EU law. Try telling that to the 35 ambulances sent there last year for all sorts, including strokes, the 5 miscarriages, and one woman gave birth in the work toilet.

How did European Law help the above people?. It's just a talking shop thats it! All this business about we are protected under EU law is nonsense or shall i say perhaps it works for the Elites or the very well educated amongst us but down at the bottom it most certainly doesn't!

Sounds just like dictatorship to me, unelected, unaccountable and unremovable.
Let us know when youve successfully completed the task ok?
We elect MEPs but they do not compile ANY laws or diktats, after the unelected commissioners create the laws, the laws are then passed down to the MEPs for acceptance, IF the laws etc. are then rejected the law gets passed back and forward till they are accepted, it's sudo-democracy but don't worry it's not democratic

My Uncle George commanded a Sherman and took it into Germany, my Uncle David was a flight engineer in Lancs, I find any attempt to compare the murder of millions by the Nazis and the EU completely and utterly farcical

Again, get a grip

Trying to explain this to a Remainian is like banging your head against a brick wall..

Just because we vote in MEP's they are under the illusion that elected people do the law-making in the same way they very conveniently confuse the security of Europe as the responsibility of the EU when it's clearly NATO. Which, by the way, has been around a darn sight longer than the EU! How ever did we manage!

An excellent read but the brexiteers will assume it's all biased shit from the ruling elite who are trying to enslave us all.

The genuinely interesting parts are about Norway and what it has to accept to trade with the EU

The bottom line with all of this is democracy. I'm British and generally the nature of a true Brit is that you can ask and we take a democratic vote as to whether it suits. You do NOT tell a Brit what to do and that is exactly what the EU and many countries within the EU are trying to do and in most cases succeeding.

In Victorian times we ruled the world. Now we don't, that's the job the U.S has seemingly taken on. Many 'lesser' countries now feel they can have a pop at us and with spineless politicians like Cameron, Osborne, Brown, Blair and Major all saying 'How high?' when the EU shouts 'Jump!' we have little chance. We need real men in charge that will tell these jumped up pillocks in Brussels where to get off.

What gets me is that the Lib-Dems, Labour, the Greens etc would have denied us our democratic right to determine our own future. Typical of waste-of-space career politicians. Yet they and their supporters will vote in the same referendum they would have denied the rest of us. If they had the courage of their convictions they would stay at home. But they won't and they're complete hypocrites.

We are already getting stitched up by the government but not sticking by the original deadline to register to vote. These corrupt career politicians are fighting for their lively hoods not yours or mine, but the lemmings will still follow the sheep over the cliff.

I see one of the biggest crooks out there Tony blair has shared a platform with John Major today in the efforts to remain. Now there's a crook if ever i saw one! One young idiot today asked the BBC if we leave will it effect the minimum wage? Why would it? Of course not it's enshrined into law!
