Are these decals best applied wet am I right? Allows a bit of adjustment before leaving them to stick.

i have heard that too but you'll need to check with the supplier as they might not be suitable.

Will do! Hopefully someone with an early quattro will be able to measure the bootlid decal position!

Thanks in advance.
OEM Came with a spacer cut out one end that butted up against the door shut line, it not only positioned the rings on the door, it 'left or right' handed them as well, which should have stopped most numpties getting the 'fade out' incorrect.. They are designed to be dead centre of the lower swage line to door gap...
That only left the choice of Silver clear v black clear and yet, amazingly, after all of Audi's efforts, even that appears to be too taxing for some owners....

It's Georg Effinger, member of the Club 1-buc.
I have a new set again from him, excellent quality. Somebody knows the positioning for the decals on the back for urquattro 1981, the word "Audi" and "quattro"?

Hi Alex,

I can measure this weekend if nobody else has them on file.

BTW, can 't you copy from your Lhasa?

Great, that's what I was looking for, thanks!

I know Georg already for many years, he always did a perfect job with the stickers and has an excellent service.
Kein Problem, I spreche gut Deutsch und kommuniziere immer auf Deutsch mit ihm.

@ Tijl: I did the decals from the Lhasa 1982 myself without instructions, so not 100 % if the positioning is correct.
