RR is 269mm vented rear. Same calipers as on V8. UrS6 too. I bought a new set for expediency from Pete Reeve/Quattro corner, and then rebuilt one of two spare sets.

WR/MB have 245mm solid discs.
Same calipers from part way through the WR build life, until the RR was introduced.

So which do you really need, and what are you attempting to achieve.

1. Dead calipers/hand brake mechanism.
These are not beyond being refurbished. I've already put some notes up in one or two of my threads. Alternatively, get them refurbished, with likes of-
enquiries@brakecaliperspecialists.uk

Seal kits are available from the likes of BiggRed, etc

2. Upgrade the rear brakes on an early quattro.
In this case, you would need-

Brake calipers
Caliper brackets
Discs
Pads

Otherwise, a direct swap

3. Some other project.

I got mine for my 85' cq from Pete Reeve at Quattro Corner. Your get a bit of money back if you send your old ones back to him.

The rear brakes are an afternoons work to swap. Well, about an hour per side. I've done this on my UR.
Pete Reeve did previously offer the '20v' rear brakes as a boxed kit, but that was a number of years ago.
In my case, I now have the same rear brakes on 4 cars, so easy for keeping spares. However, the effect of the swap in rear brakes is more aesthetic than in obvious braking.
While you are at it, it's worth checking to see if young mr 4V6 has any stainless brake shields to keep things really tidy.

Carrier 447615425

If you'd be happy tidying up some used parts, take a look at German eBay for Audi V8 rear brakes.

You won't really be gaining much updating the rears tbh , just refurb / replace what you have and make sure the whole set up is up to spec and all good

As far as I'm aware, the twin pots are ATE brakes, they fitted those to RO80s and Audi Coupe S in the 70s.

If you have any there is a company on Droitwich which will put stainless liners and pistons in, new seals and galvanize the lot, had it done for my LS and have the calipers ready for my RO.
Fairly cheap about £60 a side

My UR still has single pots, it'll stay that way. Stock is good!

Keeps me aware of the speed as well , it's alright getting up there but coming down quickly is always in the back of your mind.
