Default Tyres. 1 pair needed.

Tyres. 1 pair needed
I've killed a tyre; 1 of my p7000 215/50-15. Side wall damage.

I'm now faced with replacing all 4, with 225s, or finding a pair of 215s. I dislike unmatched axle pairs. Call it OCD, etc. all of the tyres are fairly aged, but with good residual tread. So in the worst case scenario, I'll have a spare spare or two.

Has anyone access to 215s to be fitted in the south prior to ADI?
Otherwise, it's going on to 225s.

Same here, "temporarily out of stock" and "on back order" seem to be the common phrases that come up as the answers when requesting availability from most, if not all potential stockist's websites.

Hi All

The only 215/50/15/88w tyre for sale is a Toyo proxes R888 but it's a summer tyre only. It's shocking to think that not one manufacturer are making this size especially as the likes of MR2s use them so their owners must want them as well.

Not a good situation. I still have Pirelli P7000 on mine and they must be the rarest thing on the car now!! Saw a mint MB in Devon with mint P7000 last year but it's the only other quattro I know of with these on.

Regards

I recently replaced all 4 tyres for 205/50 r15 Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002. It's fair to say you wouldn't notice that they were 205 unless you checked the sidewall. I much prefer the car with these on than the Dunlops they replaced. Better tyre and considerably cheaper.

Mark

I see the Dunlops seem to be available here

http://www.newtyresquick.com/2155015...t-9000-zr.html

I would wager they are not available though if you email them.

sales@newtyresquick.com

No phone number either 'caveat emptor' and all that.
