I suspect that would be an ideal base for one Hamish's sport conversions. The whole thing doesn't inspire confidence as a restoration, though.

I had my computer upside-down to see if those were 'deep dish' Ronals on at least two of the wheels!

And he's got two cars. The second CQ or maybe GT doesn't look too good either. Lots of good parts there though

A year ago I saw a red b2 coupe driving about in liphook. Unfortunately I was driving the firms landy. The driver looked about 90. Its the only other coupe ive seen for a few years so I bet its him.

Got a sore neck looking at his ad though.....

Saw this car today

rust all over the engine, no logbook, rusty A pillar and sunroof
signs of mouses inside, car has ABS and electric mirrors,

shell looks not bad at all, so can be used as rally recreation

seller will run auction till end and expect top dollar price

there is a other red one coupe quattro with serious front end damage and full of water inside

(broken rear windscreen)
