Default HELP ! Fuel accumulator

Does anyone have a fuel accumulator ( i think thats what its called ? ) it sits under the car with the fuel pump and filter, car is an 86 90 Quattro with 2.2 KV motor . Any help would be great, really struggling with this . thanks

Long shot, does anyone know what the Bosch part no is , i have sourced a few at a cheaper price that look the same but the part no,s are all different so i assume the internalls are all different to

0 438 170 027 is the Bosch number

There seems to be at least 3 all with different part no that say they will fit my car 042 052 029 bit confused . Am i right in thinking that this acts like a fuel pressure regulator .
