Shame to see it getting broken, shell is probably worth buying as I cut pretty well all of the rot out of it and welded in fresh!

Someone rescue it and drop a proper engine in it! Gotta be worth a couple of hundred for a rolling rot free B2 quattro hasn't it?

I emailed the seller saying it was a shame etc and he messaged me back an essay telling me what an asshole I am for ruining the car and keeping all the valuable bits (I have no idea what bits these might be?) which is funny given that the list of bits he's keeping has a value around double the amount he paid for the car, and is then breaking the car on top of that...

Nice guy!

What's on the list in the ad.

The stuff he was whinging about me keeping are front foglights (which it never had), rear light panel (because it was a US one that I imported that I wasn't going to include for the peanuts he paid) and an engine breather hose

When you pay £550 for a 90q with a 7a in it, you can hardly moan about a missing hose!

He claims all the welding I did on it has gone rotten, which while not impossible shows no evidence of being the case in his pictures...

Reckons he had to rebuild the engine and it took him 6 months to get it running, which is odd because it was running when I sold it to him, Tonks sorted the engine loom out for me
