Yes me again asking silly questions!!!
So the engine is nearly sorted but the fuel pipe was pretty knackered, the mechanic has bodged it to get it running but I'd like it sorted. The hose on mine is like a motorcycle braided hose, is this correct?? And is replacement pipe available?? |

Depends which hose you mean! For bigger hoses you can take it to a company like - http://www.pirtek.co.uk - and they will clamp a new hose onto your unions for you.
For the smaller nylon cored 2mm ID hoses from the metering head I haven't personally found that the local pirtek can source hose small enough, but I think that others have had some luck with local branches down south. Whateven you do don't bodge it, this is not a modern system running at low pressure. You've got potentially 90-100 psi in there (braided for a reason). And the fuel system is on the same side of the engine as all the red hot bits. |

The bodge is only to have it running to flush the system and check it after the rebuild. It won't be run on it.

That's fair enough, I was only saying. But this is the second or third time I've tried to help you or save you grief, with no thanks. The last question you asked, and I answered, you didn't even reply. I won't do it again as you come across as an unappreciative prick to be honest.
