I was going to go for a 100 sport turbo avant look this summer with them, but I can't get in my shed door for bloody wheels!

Gone to a good home, onto a period correct car I think.

I have a set of 4 fuchs from an 86 200 quattro avant which are in good condition, just in need of a good clean up. I'm still toying with the idea of putting them on mine for the last 5 years since I first got them, I still can't decide. Was considering selling them but they're back in my Dad's place in Ireland so I'd have to get them shipped over here first. They're worth a few bob by all accounts.

I would leave the ten spokes on too imho they look so much better than fuch.Get the fuchs refurbed to a very high standard, and by that i mean acid bath pickling, oven dried full powdercoat system will cost at least £240 for a proper job Pristine will want at least £300+ but once done your fuchs could fly out at £1,200-£1,400 no problem maybe more if an expert on these comes along and advises.

Thanks guys, I have to say I do love the 10 spokes, they suit the car lovely. I think I will get them tidied up and sell them on, it's a shame to have them gathering dust and going to waste. I think you guys just made my mind up for me!

If I'm not mistaken, part of the Fuchs rims (I think the outer rim and the edges of the spokes) was anodized instead of painted. So refurbishing them to the period correct state (as required if you want to make that kind of money with them) will be much more expensive than the 240 GBP you quote...
