This is a 1982 mint 2005T. originally sold new in Australia, therefore it is rust free and the body has never been restored, has been painted due to the clear coat lifting and is a better job the the original. Has air con, which works good and all electrics and central locking plus the cruise works perfect. Imported in 2013 and has been used sparingly since, has just over a 100k on the clock and drives great, a very rare find, less than a handful of these running in the UK, a rare opportunity, on SORN but ready to go. It is not cheap but less than it cost over 30 years ago!, In my option still totally underrated and one of the rarest Audis out there, plans have changed and it has to go. Send me an email and I can tell you anything you need to know. http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/an...yikz4.jpg.html Thanks, Andy andycri11@gmail.com Last edited by mr5t; 13-03-15 at 11:55 PM. Currently, MOT'd till October, on SORN, stored in a heated and dehumidified garage, just had a new old stock exhaust fitted, converted for the UK with the rear fogs working (not needed in Oz using the original switch and utilising the original clusters), UK clocks fitted in mph and UK steering wheel fitted, needs basically nothing, had it for many years and spent lots of time detailing it.
It all works, has an amazing Pioneer stereo fitted by VAG when new, even fitted with an amp and graphic equaliser, has a switch in the back to change the station by the rear passengers, this is not after market, VAG fitted for only for the the OZ market for the 2005T, never imported the 5E Personally know the German guy who who spent 2 years bringing them to Oz, only 100 came here all built as a custom order in succession in 82, Big big interest guys, spares also available. Look forward to hearing from you all |
