Totally agree on the S1 name, however interesting to read your comments on the way it drives as the S1 is the only A1 with Quattro and that 2.0 Tsi engine seems to have a lot of followers who like it (for a non 5 pot)

In the little test drive I had it felt fantastic especially as it's a manual, for some reason it felt quicker than the Golf R and Scirocco R we test drove earlier that day even though it has less power...

We looked at the S3 but she didn't like the looks ......

Missus has a A1 1.4 tfsi, great wee car.
Very good to drive, quite quick for a 1400 so the s1 must be hoot !

I really can't fault it, for a modern car. Just wish it had sat nav, the pop up screen is, I think better than most cars.
