I've loads of window trims with them still on.
Cheers for that, I've also been offered some others too which might be useful to get some dies milled and knock a couple of hundred out for pennies.

I take it your not happy with my costing for the parts that your on about. For one don't mug me off over the net cause your obviously not man enough to say it to my face secondly the cost of getting these parts supplied, cad designed and printed is all respective of the price. The whole reason I got these parts manufactured is because I have just restored my 20valve. Unfortunately Audi don't supply these parts anymore a little gutted to say the least and especially working for the brand as a master tech for 21 years is a little disheartening and then to find mindless mugs like yourself on hear mugging people of who live and breath the brand and quattro. If there was a cheaper and more cost effective way then please let me know. Until then keep your northern monkey mouth shut....many people from America,Canada and the whole of Europe have purchased my decals and trim and abs sensor caps and not one person has moaned. Oh apart from you who hasn't purchased anything. Oh well you loss not mine.

Sorry we're going to have to disagree, its not as though the things are made of unobtanium covered with gold and forged in the furnaces of ancient Rome by vestal virgins...... theyre made of thermosetting resins that you can bulk buy in 20 kilo bags for little more than the cost of the 4 items....

Well youd be wrong then! Its everyone elses business as well.
My aim is to make the things at a cost that gives "value for money" as well as being as close to the originals as I can.
I fail to see the value for money aspect in such small items at that extortionate cost.

I like a challenge, watch this space.

I wouldn't sell any of this stuff as I will need it myself at some point in the future. or I will remake a batch of copies. If I ever decide to give up on projects, then it'll be up for sale .... But not at a pound
Not suggesting you should sell any of your stock for a pound, theres nothing wrong with making a profit, theres everything wrong with taking advantage of the dire parts situation for maximum personal enrichment.
Thats why Ive often done jobs for people for nothing, because its right.

Maybe Im too idealistic and need to be a bit of a bastard.... sorry cant do it.

Well go and get em made yourself then. I can tell you now the price is the price due to the cost of getting designed and produced. So if you can get one defined and made for £8.00 then go for it my son. Your obviously cleaver than me. But hey it's hardly a fortune at that price. But then again you are from up north.

Tetchy tetchy, hit a nerve have I?
Why do I need to say anything to your face?
Would it come across any differently do you think?

I agree, Audi have taken a big dump on its customerbase but the fact that someone else comes along to fill the void (with good intentions) but then proceeds to shove a sand covered fist in owners backsides is somewhat grating...in more ways than one.

You might need to practice your customer relations skills a little.

Why? So you can make an even larger profit?

A slur to those OOP north! Ill say what I feel is right within reason, and complaining about extortinate pricing is legal and proper, so if you feel youve been unfairly sleighted, then too bad.
Stop taking the piss and people wont kick off about it.
