Yes the Isle of Man have some great roads and I have done 120+ many weekends over the mountain in my STI, it is great when the TT is over. But I was more of a rally person than the bikes, I used to be a rally driver myself over on the island.
If you guys have never been , you have to go sometimes...
There was a Quattro meet around on the island about 10 years ago and it is about time for one again I think....

Personally I cannot wait. This will be my second visit but the car will hopefully be more sorted this time. I really struggled last time to keep up with Kerker over the mountain part of the course in the standard Cq. At one point for around a mile the car would simply just not go any faster. The needle just seemed to be stuck on 125mph. What a drive that was, just about twilight and the sight and sound of 4 quatts, an RS2 and an M3 all pretty much flat out across the moors. Priceless.
One thing I am slightly pessimistic about though is leaving the car on the road outside the hotel in Douglas all night. Trouble is she does attract attention to herself with the livery and all the lamps. Am I worrying unduly.....please help me....please......I'm paranoid.

Well at least there might be a distraction close by...

I'm being told not to worry. BUT, when you live over here with all the thieving scumbags around, it kind of focuses the mind.

I wouldnt let it worry you rich, we left enduro bikes with no locks or ignitions on douglas prom while we quietly got leathered in stakis. They were all still there in the morning. Old dear we used to stay with, often said stuff would go missing but not to worry cause someone had only borrowed it ! was always returned later.
