Having taken the decision to keep hold of her for a bit longer (sorry to all who expressed an interest), I now have the issue of non-functional & intermittent electric windows. The passenger side works (sometimes) but my side is stuck fast with a voltage drop when the button is pressed so there appears to be a motor winding still present. Can anyone point me in the direction of a manual wind option OR a driver's side electric winder assembly ? Also, can new front wings be sourced for these as 'that time' is looming ?

Dear all,

I'm under quite a bit of pressure to part company with my old coupe again - well, it's difficult to justify 3 cars (sorry - one car and two Puntos), run them, provide space for them, etc., etc., etc..

Anyone any idea on the going rate for a 1984, 2.0, 5-cylinder, Coupe GT ?

177,000 miles, stainless steel exhaust, Momo steering wheel, up-rated & lowered suspension, poly bushes nearly everywhere (can't find 'em for the anti-roll bar), MOT'ed until next April, taxed until the end of September, and, most imortantly, LOADS of service history in paper form. She's metallic green but the bodywork is not perfect (she's 30 years old so this can only be expected).

Until the recent metering head problem, I used her every day for my work commute so she's reliable.

I know she's probably worth more as spare parts but there's not many of these old ladies left on the road now. I always intended doing her up with a quality respray etc. but I've either never had the time or the spare cash to do her justice.

Anyone looking for a project out there ?

Once I get my throttle issue sorted out, she's going up for sale. Hardly use her and that's a real shame. Anybody interested ? Loads of history, spare set of alloys, etc. all-included.

Will get her throttle problem fixed then take things from there - she's filthy so not very photogenic at the moment.
