what about neil engineering in glengarnock? we used to use them many moons ago when they were based in glasgow - no one knows diffs and gearboxes like that lot..

Update;
Got Goldie back today

and happy.
Had the diff looked at again and all was well, nowt wrong apart from the rear seals !!! gear box shop put new bearings in as it was in bits anyhow.
quattro corner had the large seal in stock (£50 inc delivery).

So with 2 new rear wheel bearings, rear poly diff mount and output shaft seals she's all good

This piccy may give you a clue as to why the rear bearings were duff
