As a car they're worth £2.5k - £5k, RR included. What they sell for has little to do with what they're worth. Lots of emotion and speculation involved in sale prices. Same as the sale of art work.

I'd only ever look for a good shell as there's a lot of crap out there .
10k all day long as long as the shell is good.

I reckon it should be worth between 7.5k and 10k, assuming that it lives up to its description. It's not quite complete.
Given recent experience, the description is likely off, so 5k to 8k.
If it's way off...

I said 12k ish, I find it strange that people wont acknowledge that Ur's are going up in price!, and if you own one then thats great news!. Its as if some dont want them to up!. I know the price of classic Fords, especially the RS marque, and I can tell you now, yes, horses for courses, eye of the beholder and all that, but at the end of the day, the Ur Quattro is made of a far higher spec and build quality than ANY Escort ( A mechanic mate, can't get over the "clunk" quality of the doors on mine!), and as owning both, yes I love my RS as I have built it from scratch, but as cars go, the price of the Ur when new, reflects how much of a good car it was. Adding to the fact that they are a rarer breed than any RS Escort.

Just shows you cant judge until you see them in the flesh?

Buyers premium on top as well maybe?

Front and rear bumpers have had a nudge, my pet hate.

If someone has gone to the trouble of respraying a car, why do they not put them back together without getting it spot on first

A few jobs to finish off but im sure it will prove a reasonable purchase, after all its summer and the car should be enjoyed as it was intended
