Default Charity run

I probably should have posted this earlier but have been abit busy with everything over last few months!

On August 4th I will be undertaking one of the hardest 10k runs in the UK... Total Warrior. I decided to sign up with my old work colleagues at M-Sport back in August last year and wanted to do it for a charity. As it is close to home I chose Cancer Research Uk, and set the ambitious target of £500!

I know alot of people on here dont know who I am, but if you are able to spare £1 or even £5 then it would be very much appreciated! I am looking to try videoing my run so you can then share my pain! You can donate through my JustGiving page below or message me and I'll send my address for cheques to be sent to.

Thank you in advance for any donations and hopefully I can make a small difference to a very worthwhile charity in 2 weeks time!

Cheers to those who have donated, if you didnt but do want to then you still can. My donation page closes end of October! I suspect there wont be any more donations but even if its £1 it really will make a difference.

As for the event, it was made harder this year and is apparently the hardest 10k event in the world.... I can vouch for that! So heres myself, kristen and Sam who I ran with as a group (part of a team of 16!) The team finished 5th of 276! and we finished 7mins over the average time. I am starting training for next years event in two weeks time!

And this was the whole M-Sport team prior to starting! Our Top placement was 18th overall of 2844 starters. I came 1705th....

Well done Jay and to the rest of your team! Not a shabby result at all! Rather you than me! I'll just stick to a gentle stroll with the dogs thanks!!
