In the old days when I changed the timing belt on 8v engines I swapped the belt and only replaced the tensioner if it was noisy. My HBOL suggests that changing the belt only is fine but years of £200+ 16v belt changes have made me paranoid.
Do I need to change the tensioner or just the belt? |
